HOME SEALING
Sealing holes and cracks in the home’s “envelope” and in duct systems helps reduce drafts, moisture, dust, pollen and noise. A tightly sealed home (when properly ventilated) improves comfort and indoor air quality while reducing utility bills.
HOW DOES WRAPTOR PLUS™ HELP?
In a typical wall system, gaps or cracks occur wherever there are joints in the sheathing. Even when the wall assembly gets covered by the exterior cladding (i.e. brick or vinyl siding), air is able to leak through these small gaps. When installed according to Insulation Solutions instructions, Wraptor Plus™ seals up the cracks in the sheathing and helps reduce the amount of air that enters and escapes through the building envelope, making the structure more comfortable and more efficient. Wraptor Plus™ is a product that allows builders to practice ENERGY STAR's recommendation for home sealing.
