PEORIA, IL- Insulation Solutions Inc. is giving Viper® a new look! For an alternative to using orange Viper® VaporCheck®, we have developed a white version of the same product, Viper® CS.
Viper® CS is ideal for crawl space applications. The idea was introduced after considering the negative effects that occur due to the extreme amounts of moisture present in a crawl space. |

The reason for manufacturing a white vapor barrier is to give the crawl space a fresh, clean look. Some homeowners use their crawl space for storage, and a white appearance will keep the crawl space looking bright and clean.
Viper® CS is a triple-ply, extrusion coated, virgin polyethylene membrane. It is available in three different mil thicknesses: 6.5-mil, 10-mil and 16-mil. Viper® CS is tested in compliance with the American Standard for Testing and Materials (ASTM). According to ASTM E 1745, Viper® CS is a “Class A” vapor barrier. Viper®’s outstanding strength characteristics greatly reduce the risk of punctures, which are ideal paths for moisture migration. |

Installing Viper® CS will provide a crawl space with a layer of protection that will help eliminate the negative effects that can occur due to moisture.
